On 29 September 2007 Broadmeadow Magic celebrated the 2007 season with its presentation night. A great night was had by all with the club house full to capacity. The Board would particularly like to thank Damien Smith for his contribution as Head Coach from 2002 to 2007. Damien has taken the position as director of football and his continued efforts will no doubt strengthen our club. The team is in good hands with Peter McGuinness taking over for 2008. Broadmeadow Magic are the 2008 Champions. After a hard fought 90 minutes and extra time, Magic took the crown in a pentaly shoot out against Azzurri. Congratulations to all involved. GROUND UPGRADE- Irrigation

Broadmeadow Magic is proud to announce that works
on the main field are about to commence involving the installation of a
fully automatic watering system. The system will allow us to water the
entire field all year round courtesy of our 60,000L water tank
capacity. The system is expected to be installed prior to Christmas.
Once it is fully operational it will greatly assist in greening the
surface over the hot summer months, rejuvenating the surface after the
works and subsequent top soils. This project will reaffirm Wanderers
Oval as the premier local football facility in the Hunter Region during
the regular season and beyond.

SOLO CUP DRAW ANNOUNCED

Northern NSW launched the SOLO Cup today. Broadmeadow Magic grouped into the Southern Pool will play its first match (Round 1) on Wednesday night the 31st March. The match will be played at Lisle Carr Oval, Whitebridge against Adamstown Rosebud FC. Kick off will be at 6:00pm.

Thank you to all supporters and members who have purchased one or a few of the Magic scarfs. It fills the whole club with great pride and enthusiasm to observe the red tide making its way through the gates. The first shipment of 400 scarfs is all but gone and we will soon be ordering a top up to our stocks. In the mean time we have the following merchandise opportunities available. Photos from last months Members Night have been uploaded for your viewing and enjoyment
If you have any photos of Broadmeadow Magic, Hamilton Red Star or Newcastle Macedonia, please email them through to website admin on bogg_star@hotmail.com. If you have printed photos could you please have them scanned and emailed through or bring them to a match day and we will scan them for you.
Your help is needed to maintain the links with the past, photos are a great way of jogging the memories, and uploading them to the website enables future generations, family and friends to reminisce as well.

MAGIC BALL AUCTIONS

Broadmeadow Magic is pleased to announce there will be along with a HUGE raffle, an auction taking place on the night of the Magic Ball. Most notably there will be 2 signed and certified shirts go under the hammer. One of a Chelsea FC signed Away Shirt (2009/2010) and a Manchester United Signed Home Shirt (2009/2010.

The Match programs of the NBN and WPL competitions are available for download. The NBN Programs can be found on the 'Fixtures' tab and WPL Programs can be found in the 'WPL' tab. Numbers relate to issue numbers not round numbers.
All files are in PDF format.
