Charity Shield It is with great pleasure that Northern NSW Football with the assistance of Broadmeadow Magic Football Club bring the 2009 Charity Shield to Wanderers Oval. On Sunday 29th of March the people of the Hunter through football get their chance to support this great cause. Entry is $5 to all. There will be many great raffles on the day and all profits of gates, canteen and raffles go to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. Hoping to build on the success of the Charity Shield in recent years we hope all can make it out for a great day for a great cause. The Charity Shield will also see the inaugaral season of the Herald Womens Premier League kick off, the premier womens competition for the Hunter Region, and a chance to see your local W-League stars kicking around for their local teams.
