Broadmeadow Magic Football Academy
Broadmeadow Magic Football Academy

BMFC Welcomes the Broadmeadow Magic Football Academy

It is our pleasure to announce that this year will see the introduction of the Broadmeadow Magic Football Academy (B.M.F.A).  With the club enjoying great success both on and off the pitch there is no better time to introduce the next step in the clubs player development pathway.

The B.M.F.A will consist of 24 players from the under 15 to under 17 age group with the aim of bridging the gap between junior and senior football.  The B.M.F.A squad will consist of 24 players selected by a panel of qualified coaches and will consist of players ranging across all 3 age groups.

The Academy squad will train once a week during the club season, increasing to twice a week at the conclusion of the season. This will ensure that these players will benefit from additional training to compliment their club training during the season and continue to engage in intense training throughout the off season. This continuation will ensure players will be in peak condition and touch in time for the start of the senior training schedule.

All graduates from the B.M.F.A will be invited to train on with and trial for the Broadmeadow Magic under 19 side.

The B.M.F.A will be a professionally run program with specifically designed curriculums for each yearly intake, qualified coaching staff, good facilities, best available training equipment and visits form guest coaches and sports professionals.

All B.M.F.A squad members will be kitted out in the best available training kits. Players will be identified and promoted as potential future senior squad members and treated as such both on and off the field by Academy staff.

If you would like to nominate someone for selection into the B.M.F.A or would like to nominate yourself, please fill in the nomination form and hand to the senior canteen in a sealed envelope with Broadmeadow Magic Football Academy written on it.

Please note that players selected for the final Academy squad will be expected to pay a once off yearly fee. However, this initiative is and will continue to be strongly supported by Broadmeadow Magic Football Club. This is NOT a money making venture but rather an initiative set up to develop players in the hope to progress them from junior to senior football.
